Get answers to common questions about Men's Underarms Wax.
Most clients enjoy 3–6 weeks of smoothness after underarm waxing. Duration depends on individual hair growth, hormones, and exfoliation habits. Regular waxing can extend intervals — schedule maintenance every 4–6 weeks based on regrowth and personal preference.
Regular waxing removes hair from the root and can weaken follicles over time, often leading to finer, sparser regrowth. Results vary; some see significant reduction after several sessions while others notice minimal change.
You may feel brief discomfort, but most men tolerate underarm waxing well. To minimize pain, avoid caffeine before your appointment, schedule outside peak sensitivity times, breathe steadily, and consider topical numbing if highly sensitive.
Ensure hair is 1/4 to 1/2 inch long (about 7–12 mm). Avoid deodorant, heavy exercise, or sun exposure on the day. Arrive clean and relaxed; our technician will review any concerns before starting.
Keep the area clean and avoid hot showers, saunas, or heavy sweating for 24–48 hours. Use gentle exfoliation after 48 hours and apply soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer to reduce irritation and prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid shaving between waxing sessions, as shaving cuts hair at the surface and can interfere with future waxing. Light trimming is acceptable if necessary, but try to wait until regrowth is sufficient for a proper wax.
