Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Gentlemen Brows Waxing.

Most clients experience brief, manageable discomfort. Our technicians use calming techniques, precise waxing and soothing post-care to minimize irritation. If you have very sensitive skin, we recommend patch testing or discussing topical numbing before treatment.

Results usually last three to six weeks depending on hair growth rate and personal maintenance. Regular appointments keep the shape consistent; longer gaps may require more corrective shaping. We’ll advise a schedule tailored to your needs.

Arrive with natural brows and avoid tweezing for at least two weeks. If hairs are very long, a light trim helps, but our technicians can assess and trim small lengths. Intact hair ensures accurate shaping and optimal results.

Waxing can significantly improve asymmetry by removing stray hairs and refining lines, but it won’t create new hair. For sparse areas we may recommend tinting or a consultation for semi-permanent solutions alongside shaping.

Avoid retinoids, chemical peels and heavy sun exposure at least 48 hours before waxing. Skip aspirin or blood thinners if possible and arrive with clean, makeup-free brows. Inform us of medications or skin conditions in advance.

Avoid heavy exercise, saunas and excessive sweating for 24 hours to reduce irritation and infection risk. Gentle cleansing and avoiding sun exposure helps healing. You can generally resume normal activities after the first day unless sensitivity persists.
